As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and report activity with clear, professional communication. You will deliver customer-focused service while supporting operations through teamwork, reliability, and integrity. Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations through established channels.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying authorization, directing traffic and/or deliveries, and documenting visitor and contractor activity per site requirements.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate status updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts, and support audits, drills, and other compliance-related tasks as assigned.
