Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor guidance, respond to concerns, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication. Requirements
- Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal site-specific post orders, access control requirements, and security-related procedures and/or emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking areas, loading areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor and document unusual conditions such as open doors, damaged property, maintenance hazards, and/or suspicious behavior, and communicate findings to the appropriate contacts.
- Complete detailed written reports and electronic entries for daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and/or policy violations in accordance with site requirements.
