As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Simi Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require follow-up.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols to help to support controlled entry and protection of sensitive areas.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and/or incident documentation, and communicate clearly with coworkers, supervisors, and site representatives regarding security-related concerns and daily activities.
