As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location supporting public-facing human services operations. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to visitors and staff. Requirements

  • MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and other security-related protocols at a government services location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, activity levels, and/or restricted areas, verify identification or visitor information when required, and document security-related observations, incidents, and daily activities.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, provide direction during evacuations or service disruptions, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and/or first responders as needed.
