Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support residents, guests, and property staff while contributing to a caring culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report relevant details according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions.
• Support daily property operations by documenting observations, communicating with residents and/or management, and assisting with routine security-related concerns.
