As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge checks, respond to questions and concerns with strong customer service, and communicate clearly with teammates and site contacts. Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and visitor processing protocols at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or policy violations.
  • Monitor and operate security-related systems such as CCTV, access control, and intrusion/fire panels, documenting observations and initiating notifications when abnormal conditions are observed.
  • Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift turnover communications, supporting investigations by collecting statements and maintaining accurate documentation per Allied Universal and site policies.
