About The Position
As a Security Officer - DoD Security Clearance in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements
- Have 1+ years of security experience.
- Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Control access to buildings, production areas, and other restricted spaces by checking identification, coordinating visitor processing, and maintaining security-related logs and documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate contacts and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Prepare clear, timely security-related reports, including incident reports, shift activity summaries, and observations related to hazards, maintenance issues, and/or unusual conditions.
