Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking lots, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor, contractor, and/or delivery traffic in accordance with site protocols.
Support assigned operations by observing facility conditions, reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations, and helping with orderly movement of people and vehicles across the location.
