As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional workplace environment. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to situations with calm customer service. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience or 2+ years' security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years' security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct routine and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
  • Monitor access control points by verifying identification, logging visitors and contractors, and directing deliveries and shipments according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and Allied Universal supervision as needed.
  • Document observations, patrol activities, and incident details in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate updates during shift briefings and post handoffs.
