About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Facility Campus in Allentown, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and maintain a visible presence while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order within the premises.
Document and report observations, incidents, and any unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal guidelines.
Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related needs specific to a tech, media, and telecom environment.
Remain alert to changes in the environment or activities that may require additional attention or intervention.
