Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Facility Campus Patrol in Malvern, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post, where you will respond to situations as needed while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for employees and visitors.
Monitor access points and verify identification or credentials of individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or potential threats to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during critical events or emergencies.
Maintain detailed and accurate activity logs and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related situations specific to financial institution environments.
