As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a high-profile aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control operations and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering customer service with integrity. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license in the job state.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, hangars, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Control access at gates and entry points by confirming authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing employees, contractors, and deliveries according to site requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, and medical or fire-related notifications, and coordinate with on-site personnel and public responders as needed.
Complete detailed reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate shift handoffs and site conditions to supervisors and client contacts.
