You will conduct routine mobile patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and customer-focused professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, offering variety across the site while working with a team that values integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and/or distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, processing visitors and contractors, issuing badges as directed, and directing deliveries to the proper receiving areas.
  • Monitor alarms, access control systems, and/or video surveillance, then respond to suspicious activity, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document routine activity and incident response in written reports and logs, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
