As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols and visible rounds to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly with tenants, staff, and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access control concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, including verifying credentials, issuing temporary badges when directed, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Complete shift reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant updates during shift briefings and/or post orders review.
