Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Naperville, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support guests and staff with courteous service and clear communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to guests, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, hotel and resort policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout guest areas, back-of-house spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, helping to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and disruptive behavior. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, noise complaints, and lost and found situations, and coordinate with local responders as needed. Document patrols, incidents, and maintenance concerns in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Requirements
