About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering professional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and an armed post supporting rapid, coordinated response. Requirements

Have at least 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Hold an Act 235 Qualification in Pennsylvania only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
Respond to alarms, incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite leadership and local law enforcement as required.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas and perimeter points, documenting observations and reporting suspicious activity.
Control access by monitoring doors, gates and other controlled points, verifying credentials, and directing employees, visitors and vendors according to post orders.
Complete detailed incident reports and shift logs, operate security-related systems such as CCTV and access control, and maintain assigned equipment according to policy and training.
