Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Wellington, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, giving you opportunities to cover multiple areas while supporting staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, observing for unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow, verifying identification and/or authorization when required, and directing individuals to the appropriate department or waiting area.
  • Complete patrol and incident documentation, communicate observations to site leadership, and support investigations by preserving relevant details and maintaining required logs.
