Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Greene, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will provide clear communication, strong customer service, and timely reporting while supporting operations with professionalism and integrity. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license and meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements, as you move between areas as needed. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor access in accordance with site policy, and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including activating site notifications and coordinating with site leadership and/or local responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, damage, or irregular conditions for reporting.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrol activity, access control actions, incidents, and maintenance concerns, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
