You will conduct routine patrols across the property, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access needs as they arise. Using clear communication and customer service, you will support staff and visitors while documenting observations and reporting concerns with integrity as part of a reliable, team-focused culture.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, guests, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office, campus, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify identification, badges, and visitor authorization in accordance with location requirements, directing visitors to the appropriate destinations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, access control issues, suspicious activity, and medical calls, escalating to public responders when needed.
• Document security-related activities, incidents, and patrol observations in daily reports and incident reports, and communicate relevant updates to location contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
