As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazardous conditions.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic flow, verify identification and/or shipping documentation as required by location procedures, and document entries and exits.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete accurate reports and daily activity logs, communicate observations to site leadership, and support security-related investigations per location policy.
