As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be a calm, customer-service focused presence, communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and teammates while documenting observations and supporting site procedures. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout interior areas, loading and dock zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and contractor entry processes per site guidelines, reporting irregularities and/or access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting de-escalation, contacting emergency services when needed, and coordinating with on-site teams.
• Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations during shift handoffs, and use site systems to document security-related events and/or maintenance concerns.
