Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment within commercial real estate locations.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences during patrols and while on post.
Communicate with team members, supervisors, and/or local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as required by site policies.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
