About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Ambassador in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. You will support access control, observe activity around docks and corridors, document security-related findings, and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts while delivering a strong customer service experience. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience preferred.
  • X-Ray screening experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to a logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, managing visitor and/or vendor entry, and directing traffic flow near gates, yards, and loading dock areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse floor, parking areas, perimeter, and trailer yard to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy violations.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and access activity in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant updates to the site supervisor and/or incoming officers.
