As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication, access awareness, and prompt reporting of concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Access Control and/or Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including corridors, entrances, waiting areas, and exterior perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor traffic as assigned, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior through presence and professional communication.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site staff and/or first responders as directed.
• Complete required reports and logs, including incident documentation, patrol activity notes, and any follow-up information needed by site leadership.
