About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Agent in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, communicate clearly with site contacts, and document security-related activity with professionalism. Requirements

  • Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement and/or military and/or security experience or a college degree.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify irregular conditions.
  • Monitor access points and lobby areas, assist with visitor and/or vendor check-in, and direct individuals to the appropriate service areas in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms and/or customer concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Complete patrol logs and incident reports, document unusual activity, and participate in briefings and/or post orders updates as required by the location.
