As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet customers and associates, respond to questions and concerns, and communicate clearly with store leaders and your Allied Universal team. Requirements

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and store guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and the exterior perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
Monitor for unusual activity, potential theft, and/or policy violations, and report observations through required documentation and communication channels.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite management and/or law enforcement when appropriate.
Assist with access control at entrances and receiving areas, help manage disturbances, and support customer de-escalation in accordance with site-specific policies.
