As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors while delivering customer service. Requirements

• Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals as required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors, waiting areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, suspicious activity, and requests for assistance, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Control access at designated points by monitoring doors and entryways, directing visitors, checking credentials when required, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts.
• Complete reports and logs for security-related incidents, patrols, and observations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives.
