As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. You will remain visible throughout your shift, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and incident reports as required by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
