About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Unarmed Patrol Driver in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Proof of hospital-required vaccines is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the healthcare environment.
Assist visitors, staff, and patients with directions and general information as needed.
Work collaboratively with healthcare personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related matters.
Follow all protocols for access control, visitor management, and incident documentation as required by the site.
Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings to help to deter unauthorized activity within the healthcare location.
