About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Foot Patrol in Butler, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff in a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate clinical staff and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance hazards, access issues, and unusual conditions.
• Control access in accordance with site procedures by monitoring entrances, checking identification where required, managing visitor sign-in, and directing foot traffic to appropriate destinations.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations in required reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
