Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Institution Patrol in Malvern, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer in a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. This armed and driving post requires you to conduct routine patrols and interact with individuals on-site, delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the financial institution to help to deter potential threats and unauthorized access.
Report and document any suspicious activity or security-related incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when required, following established guidelines and protocols.
Maintain awareness of the surroundings and communicate potential concerns or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
