Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Institution Patrol in Malvern, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively patrol and monitor financial institution locations, supporting a secure environment for clients and staff. This armed and driving post involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.
Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the protection of people and property.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution's facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor and control access points, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, security-related hazards, or unusual occurrences to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and clients, providing assistance and information as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
