About The Position

As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol in Berkeley, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas within a financial institution location. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
A valid guard card or license is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and report any security-related concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues within the location.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter inappropriate behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Document incidents and complete required reports accurately and promptly.
Support access control procedures and monitor entrances and exits as required by site-specific policies.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and concerns.
