Job Description As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol in Rochelle, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service to employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and respond to situations with professionalism. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel and/or management.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or law enforcement as necessary to address security-related matters.
