You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and concerns, and support staff and visitors with clear, professional customer service. Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas, adjusting patrol patterns based on site activity and conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing initial assistance and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Monitor entry points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol findings, and unusual activity, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management per escalation guidelines.
