About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Patrol in Fairless Hills, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver strong customer service while supporting a people-first, integrity-driven team. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow by verifying identification and/or credentials, directing guests and vendors, and reporting access concerns per site procedures.
  • Complete detailed patrol logs and incident reports, operate site communication tools as assigned, and support security-related drills and/or post orders as required.
