Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, office spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information when required, and help to report unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, or policy violations.
• Support daily operations at the location by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with routine security-related checks, and following post orders for restricted or sensitive areas.
