As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible throughout the site, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical and petrochemical locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and controlling access to restricted areas within the chemical and petrochemical environment.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal management.
Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations or shelter-in-place procedures, as directed by site policies and protocols.
Complete detailed and accurate security-related reports and logs in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Collaborate with site staff and first responders to support security-related operations and maintain a professional presence on location.
