As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate resources and completing required notifications.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned public-sector facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor and document unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations; complete accurate reports and maintain activity logs per post orders.
• Control access in accordance with site-specific procedures, including observing entrances, checking credentials when required, and directing visitors to appropriate areas.
