About The Position

As a Security Officer - TWIC Port Driver in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a positive guest experience through strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Bring agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, team-first culture.

Requirements

• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, medical situations, and/or suspicious activity at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, loading or receiving areas, and the perimeter, as permitted by post assignment.
• Monitor access points and observe CCTV or alarm systems when assigned, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or theft-related activity.
• Complete detailed reports and required documentation, communicate with store personnel and/or property management, and assist with directions and general information for visitors.
