Join Allied Universal at a busy food and beverage location where you will manage access control, greet associates and visitors, verify credentials, and help maintain orderly entry and exit. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, document activity, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and drivers by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Control access at gates and entrances by checking identification, issuing and collecting badges, verifying appointments and/or delivery documentation, and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs.
• Monitor alarms, access control systems, and camera systems, reporting irregular activity and helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, loading docks, and the perimeter, noting and reporting unusual conditions and/or maintenance concerns.
