As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will interact with team members, drivers, and visitors while providing strong customer service and clear communication, using basic computer or tablet tools as needed. Requirements
- Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to client representatives, drivers, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, yards, docks, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor and control access at gates and checkpoints by verifying identification, processing visitor and vehicle logs, and coordinating entry and/or exit with site personnel.
- Complete security-related reports and documentation, including incident reports, daily activity logs, and observations from patrols and access control activities.
