Job Description As a Security Officer - Transit Hub Patrol in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, support access control and visitor flow, and provide clear, professional customer service. You will communicate concerns, document activity, and work closely with site teams. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, loading and receiving zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas; observe customer and associate activity and report suspicious or unusual behavior per site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; provide clear direction to individuals on scene and request additional assistance when needed.
Complete incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation; communicate timely updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
