About The Position

As a Security Officer Transit Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions as directed by site policies, and assist with visitor, contractor, and/or delivery traffic in accordance with post instructions.
Support incident reporting and daily activity documentation, communicating clearly with supervisors, employees, and/or local responders when needed regarding security-related matters.
