As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol Unarmed in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and provide strong customer service and clear communication to staff and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license and meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government transportation setting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access issues, disruptions, medical events, and other security-related concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public spaces, verify credentials when required, and assist with crowd flow during peak periods and special events.
  • Complete reports on daily activities, incidents, and irregularities, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal leadership and location representatives.
