Job Description As a Security Officer - Driver Foot Patrol in Mukilteo, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site contacts, document observations, and respond to calls for assistance with professionalism and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and meeting AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Control access at entrances and restricted areas by verifying identification, monitoring badge compliance, and directing personnel and/or deliveries according to site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site representatives and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and office areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Complete patrol and incident documentation, monitor alarms and/or surveillance systems when assigned, and communicate activity updates to Allied Universal management and site leadership.
