About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Team in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or calls for assistance, complete clear reports, and deliver strong customer service through professional communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm Panel Experience - preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience - preferred.
  • Guard Card/License - preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
  • Control access at gates, entrances, and loading dock areas by verifying identification, coordinating visitor check-in, and directing traffic flow in accordance with post orders.
  • Monitor cameras, alarm panels, and other site systems when assigned, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations in daily activity reports, and complete incident reports as required.
