As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol Specialist in Mountain View, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech-focused location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service while interacting with employees and visitors. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with computers or tablets is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A valid guard card or license is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
Support the protection of assets and personnel by maintaining a visible presence and assisting with access control as required.
Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and/or contractors to provide assistance and information as needed.
Complete incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.
