About The Position

As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol Specialist in Lebanon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to individuals at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns specific to a technology-focused environment.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences, following the proper reporting procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors, providing assistance or direction as needed.
  • Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports as required by site and Allied Universal standards.
  • Remain alert and attentive while on duty, adapting to changing working environments and conditions typical of a technology, media, or telecom location.
