About The Position

As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol Specialist in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. Your presence and professionalism will support a positive experience for everyone on site. This is a driving post, so you will operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
Collaborate with team members and client representatives to address security-related matters and support a secure environment.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
